Special Session proposals are invited for the 2026 International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB), to be held in Rome, Italy, from 1–4 September 2026.
The Special Sessions at IJCB 2026 are designed to complement and enrich the main technical program by spotlighting new, emerging, or not-yet-consolidated research directions that are of particular relevance to the biometrics community. Their primary aim is to create a focused forum for topics that warrant dedicated attention beyond the scope of the regular conference tracks.
The deadline for submitting special session proposals is January 31, 2026. Decisions will be announced by February 15, 2026.
