Author Registration
All accepted papers – all conference, special session and workshop papers – *MUST* have at least one registered author with a non-student and non-life/retired-member registration no later than Sunday, March 31, 2019, 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the early registration deadline) in order for their paper to be included in the USB proceedings and the online proceedings in IEEE Xplore. A student registration and a complimentary keynote speaker registration cannot cover a paper. The student rate therefore only applies if another author has registered at the full rate, or if the student is not presenting. One person can register up to 2 main conference papers and 1 workshop paper as long as that person is a co-author on each of the papers.
Tutorial courses – all tutorial courses *MUST* have at least one registered organizer with a non-student and non-life/retired-member registration.
NOTE: Authors requiring a VISA to enter France (and the EU) should check the “Letter of guarantee” option on the “Optional items” page. The letter is needed for your VISA application.
Registration Details
Early registration ends Sunday, March 31, 2019, 11:59 PM Pacific time.
Regular registration begins April 1, 2019, 12:00 AM Pacific Time.
All Registrations include: Admission to all technical sessions, all workshops, all short courses and tutorials, refreshment breaks, the reception, banquet, and one USB copy of the proceedings.
Note that the registration fees listed below also include a 20% VAT charge.
One-Day Workshop/Short Course Pass is valid for one day only (either May 14 or May 18).

The cost of a letter of guarantee is 20 EUR (net) per letter.
REFUND POLICY
All refund requests must be made via email to Adam Czajka, aczajka@nd.edu. All cancellations will be subject to a 50 EUR cancellation fee before April 7, 2019. NO REFUNDS will be made after April 7, 2019.
You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty.
EXHIBITOR and SPONSOR REGISTRATION
Exhibitors and sponsors should also register for the conference and select the “Complimentary” registration type on the registration page.
VAT EXEMPTIONS
French Law (art 283-1 of the CGI – “Code Général des Impôts”) allows VAT exemptions for individuals affiliated with a French institution if they are able to provide a valid French VAT number during registration. A separate registration link is provided below for French researchers who are VAT exempt.
