Deadline for camera ready submission and copyright submission is July 15, 2016.

Latex and Word template for final camera ready submission are available here.

Some key steps in uploading the camera ready papers are:

  1. Please make sure to validate your camera ready paper with pdf-express. Go to the site http://www.pdf-express.org and create an account for yourself by following the link "New Users Click Here". The conference ID is 37303x. Follow the instructions and make sure that your pdf is IEEE Xplore compatible.
    • In our experience, 90% of the failed validations are due to font embedding issues. If your validation fails, make sure that embeddable fonts are used exclusively, including the captions and text of figures and tables. If you Google "pdf express problem" you will find lots of advice on how to fix validation problems.
    • You cannot skip the validation step. IEEE will revalidate every file we submit for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, and will not fix or ingest files that fail validation. If it's not ingested, it is not archival.
    • The validation step does not enter your final paper into CMT; so do not stop once you have a validated file.
  2. After validating with PDF eXpress, login to your BTAS 2016 CMT account at https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/BTAS2016/ and submit the camera ready paper.
  3. Do not forget to submit IEEE Copyright form via CMT account. For all the accepted papers, IEEE Copyright form is linked and you can submit it online. Once you fill the online form, please follow the instructions to upload the pdf file of fill copyright form at the CMT.
  4. Registration details are available at http://ieee-biometrics.org/btas2016/registration.html
  5. Papers accepted for the meeting must be presented by one of the authors, and at least one of the authors must register for the meeting at the author rate. A registration at the Author Rate will cover only 1 paper. Beyond 6 pages, extra page charges are applicable; US$100 per extra page, for a maximum of two extra pages.
